Thousands of Plastic Figures Hold Up the Floor

We have blogged before about the magnificent works of Korean artist Do Ho Suh. His installations and sculptures are fascinating wonderments and often incorporate our favourite media of choice — toys.
This installation is titled Floor and was recently on show at Lehmann Maupin Gallery in New York. Glass plates rest on thousands of autumn hued mini plastic figures, crowded together with their heads and arms turned upward, holding aloft the glass plates and therefore holding up you as you walk across them.
