Supakitch & Koralie
The pairing of French artists Supakitch & Koralie are yet another couple that has been brought together through art, similar you could say to our previous post on Dabs Myla, another live/work creative couple. In any case, their mural work spans worldwide and along with it the acclaim they deserve for their colourful character based paintings and graphics. As well as being street artists, they have been invited to exhibit in gallery format, bridging a supposed gap between those who work on external and internal surfaces.
Always with a healthy serving of exquisitely crisp line-work, their style is heavily derived from their joint love of Japanese culture and fantasy. Most of the time you will see them transmorphed into the murals themselves, predominantly in the forms of animals (Supakitch) and Geishas (Koralie).
As well as their love of anime, they are both vinyl collectors and contribute work to various platforms, including their own apparel line in the form of Metroplastique. You can have a cheeky browse of their wares at www.metroplastique.com
