O (Omicron) is a permanent installation for Poland's new museum of architecture in Wroclaw. When opened, Hala Stulecia was the largest reinforced concrete structure in the world. With a diameter of 65m it was home to the largest dome built since the Pantheon in Rome eighteen centuries earlier. The Centennial Hall was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006.
The scale of this projection mapping is just as enthralling. The visuals are based around the message of passing time from the building's construction through to the modern day.

Do Ho Suh,currently on display at Western Washington University.
Cause & Effectevokes a vicious tornado. In Do Ho Suh's words: "This vast ceiling installation is a composition of densely hung strands that anchor thousands of figures clad in colors resembling a Doppler reading stacked atop one another. A physical realisation of existence, suggesting strength in the presence of numerous individuals. The work is an attempt to decipher the boundaries between a single identity and a larger group, and how the two conditions coexist.”
Other works by Suh have been receiving a lot of attention recently with his
Fallen Star Landsinstallation in San Diego, and his
Floorinstallation in Singapore similarly depicting the might of many thousands of tiny men.
